Meet the Easy Mile Fitness team dedicated to our mission and values.
Our Leadership Team

Peter is a co-founder of Easy Mile Fitness, alongside his brother Philip, and oversees the Finance and Real Estate departments. In this role, he manages all financial operations, including the development of new Planet Fitness locations and corporate acquisitions.
Before founding Easy Mile Fitness, Peter worked as an investment banker at Barclays in New York and at Audax Group, a middle-market private equity firm in Boston. At Audax, he led corporate, financial, and market due diligence for platform and add-on acquisitions, contributing to transactions valued at over $500 million in revenue.
Peter earned an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, where he was an Edward Tuck Scholar, and a B.A. from Brown University. He also chairs the Enterprise Value Committee for the Planet Fitness Independent Franchisee Committee (PFIFC).

Philip is a co-founder of Easy Mile Fitness, alongside his brother Peter, and is responsible for overseeing the Operations, Marketing, Facilities, and Human Resources departments. In his role, he focuses on aligning the organization and ensuring operational efficiency across all areas.
Before founding Easy Mile Fitness, Philip worked as a marketing executive at Microsoft, where he specialized in building and managing high-performing teams, driving sales results, and leveraging innovative technology.
Philip holds a B.A. in Economics and Italian Studies from Colby College, where he graduated with distinction. He also serves as the Second Vice President on the Independent Franchisee Council Board of Directors and as Chair of the Planet Fitness Independent Franchisee Council.
Why Easy Mile Fitness? “It’s the fact that I get to come in and work with such incredible people (my family included) every day.”
Favorite Workout: Cycling.

Dave is the financial and growth strategist at Easy Mile Fitness, responsible for ensuring the company’s financial stability and supporting its ambitious growth objectives.
Dave began his career at Smashburger, working on the franchisor side of the business. His experience with the franchise model brings a valuable perspective to working as a Franchisee. He is particularly proud of building the in-house Accounting and Finance departments, which have continued to grow quarter after quarter.
Dave holds a B.S. in Accounting from Robert Morris University (Illinois) and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Favorite Workout: Golf & Functional Fitness.

Mandi began her journey at Easy Mile Fitness at the front desk of the company’s first club and has since grown into her current role as Director of Operations (US / CAN). In this position, she supports regional and club teams to ensure they meet and exceed operational standards.
Prior to joining Easy Mile Fitness, Mandi worked in operations management at Best Buy. She is most proud of advancing to her leadership position over seven years and making a positive impact on both club members and team members.
Mandi holds a Certified Training Manager (CTM) certification from Planet Fitness Headquarters.

Tomás is the Director of Real Estate at Easy Mile Fitness, responsible for managing the company’s portfolio and driving its growth. He oversees the entire project lifecycle, from identifying and evaluating potential locations for new clubs, to negotiating LOIs and leases, and managing relocations and portfolio optimization.
Before joining Easy Mile, Tomás worked at Planet Fitness Headquarters, where he helped develop corporate clubs. As a dedicated Planet Fitness member, he is proud to contribute to a team that brings equitable access to judgement-free fitness in communities worldwide.
Tomás holds a B.S. in Math from Bates College.

Nancy oversees the Human Resources department at Easy Mile Fitness, focusing on employee relations while managing administration and benefits for the company’s growing team. She is especially proud of creating a positive work environment at Easy Mile.
Before joining Easy Mile, Nancy worked in the hospitality industry, primarily with Boston-area hotels. During this time, she developed strong skills in collaboration, conflict resolution, and problem-solving.
Nancy holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (2008), a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (2015), and a Strategic Human Resources Leadership Certificate from Cornell University.

Mike leads all marketing efforts at Easy Mile Fitness, using data-driven insights to make strategic decisions for the marketing strategy. He is particularly proud of navigating the challenges brought on by the pandemic, where he successfully managed limited budgets and marketing activities while transitioning between three different agencies.
Before joining Easy Mile, Mike spent a decade in marketing in the alcohol and automotive industries with time spent at Harpoon Brewery and a Boston-based Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership group.
Mike holds a B.A. in Advertising from Boston University.
Why Easy Mile Fitness? “We are nimble and have a great team in place where we are able to adapt to challenges quickly.”
Favorite Workout: Bouldering.

John is responsible for overseeing all physical facilities at Easy Mile Fitness, from initial buildout to ongoing maintenance. He manages the construction of new Planet Fitness locations, overseeing an annual construction budget of over $25MM. On the Facilities side, his team ensures that all equipment remains in top condition, contributing to a positive member experience.
With over a decade of real estate experience, John has worked with owners and management companies to open new buildings and establish processes for rapid expansion. He is particularly proud of his ability to adapt to changing circumstances and find effective solutions to complex challenges.
John served as a Military Policeman in the United States Marine Corps from 2000 to 2004.

Favorite Workout: Yoga.

Keishla is the operations director for all Easy Mile Fitness owned clubs in Puerto Rico. She manages the operations of the clubs, developing and implementing new programs, and ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and safe.
Keishla has over a decade of experience working with Planet Fitness brand prior to the Easy Mile’s acquisition of all the brand’s Puerto Rican clubs. She is most proud of managing 19 clubs, while maintaining the brand standards with an excellent atmosphere and high cleaning standard.
Keishla received her Associate’s in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico at Río Piedras.
Why Easy Mile Fitness? “We are always looking for new ways to enhance our team members and club members’ experience and stay ahead of industry trends.”

Bill has been a member of the Board of Directors at Easy Mile since 2024.
Bill co-founded Parthenon and became Chairman, CEO, and Managing Partner in 1994. Parthenon merged with EY in the fall of 2014, with Bill continuing to lead the organization until the end of 2019. During his tenure, he successfully built EY-Parthenon into a $2 billion business.
Bill has advised a number of Chief Executive Officers on the strategic direction of their corporations including the CEOs of Thomson Reuters, Ford Motor, Dun and Bradstreet, Corning, Houghton Mifflin, Hachette, Invensys, Saatchi & Saatchi, AC Nielsen, and Huber. In addition to working with CEOs, Bill has formally served on the Board of Directors of Briggs & Stratton, Citizens Energy, and Bain & Company.
Bill holds a BA in Public and International Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Debra has served on the Board of Directors at Easy Mile since 2017.
Debra is a Certified Public Accountant with a strong foundation in finance and entrepreneurship. She was one of three principals who led the management buyout of Northeast Environmental Products (“NEEP”) and successfully oversaw its sale to a major environmental products firm.
Before her role at NEEP, Debra served as CFO for Elcon Industries, a portfolio company at Security Pacific National Bank/Bank of America Capital Corp, where she spent seven years. She began her career as a CPA at Smith Batchelder & Rugg, one of the largest regional public accounting firms in northern New England.
Debra received a B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College, where she graduated Cum Laude.

Roger has been a member of the Board of Directors at Easy Mile since 2017.
A seasoned entrepreneur and investor, he brings extensive experience in healthcare and publishing. Most recently, he was the majority owner of The Aequitas Group, a boutique healthcare advisory firm, and AccessMed, a medical reimbursement support services company that was successfully acquired by US Oncology.
Previously, Roger served as CFO of Jobson Publishing for over 14 years, one of the largest privately held medical information companies in the U.S. There, he led all M&A activities and financing initiatives. After bringing on Boston Ventures as a minority partner, he played a key role in the successful sale of Jobson Publishing to Wicks Group Private Equity in 2005.
Roger holds a B.A. in Economics from Brown University.
